easy on off the road. price. No signage or decoration welcoming you to Amarillo would equal the greeting of the cow dung aroma you get coming into Amarillo from the west. Just in case you aren't from Texas this is your howdy do...
1.Breakfast did not include decaf coffee 2. the original room assignment would have me park my car out of sight of my room. It also would have me carry my bags over fifty feet from the car to the room. 3. The overall appearance of the facility screamed run down. The room though not new was clean and comfortable so i was surprised.
After telling me they were full, they gave me a room in a section they close down for the winter. My room was already paid for...
out dated. sheets and towels thread bare-see through
The rooms were very quiet, great sound proofing.
Needed a downstairs room and put request in the appropriate box when I booked, was told they had no rooms downstairs. Also asked for non- smoking, which the room was but must have bad ventilation because smoke from other rooms came into mine.
it is run down hotel needing a lot of work. Craked tiles in the bath, poor carper with holes in it. It used to be much nicer place...
Easy off and on the interstate. Nice breakfast.
Hotel staff never aked for id, just handed me the room key. When we went into the bathroom, the bath mat and wash cloth on the edge of the tub was very wet due to the shower head dripping and bouncing onto the edge of the tub. When I called the first desk, which was completly around the entire building, he told me to just come get dry towels, which I never did. My husband stopped the dripping by turning it off tightly. When I took a shower, the water would go from very hot to very cold with no notice. The was the 4th and final hotel we stayed in on our trip and it was by far the most expensive and the worse. I will not stay in another Travellodge again.
The motel was clean, comfortable and the people on reception were very helpful. The breakfast was better than normal as well, even compared to other Travelodge motels I have stayed in. There are several restaurants nearby too (walking distance). I just needed a room for the night while travelling and everything I required was there.
It was convenient to the interstate and just what we needed. They had a nice breakfast and the staff was very nice.
Convenient to our travelling route. Had a decent breakfast for a motel. Price was reasonable for an overnight stay. Swimming pool was clean, and an appreciated bonus after a long day in the car.
Shower was moldy and faucet leaked. Air conditioning unit didn't work well - overly noisy and the temperature oscillated all over the place. Walls were a bit thin - noisy neighbors above and beside.
We were traveling through Amarillo on our way home so got there about 9:00 p.m. and left fairly early the next morning. The rooms were fully booked for the night. It was very quiet even though it is about a block from the freeway. They provide a good variety for breakfast.
The only thing we liked about this hotel was the free Limo ride to the Texas Steak Resturant
Bathroom had a used band aid on the floor.
The receptionist was nice.
Asked for Housekeeping to clean room and they never came. Asked to speak to the manager and conveniently not available.
conveience and ecomony. Staff was friendly/
could have been cleaner.
We felt the need to go buy pillows, pillow cases and lysol:(
The room was extremely dirty and smelled strong of cigaret smoke!
Close to grocery store
Bathroom needed deep cleaning and renovation.
